A little about me ...
I am so privileged to do the work that I do. To support people in their journeys to wellness and happiness. Even after all these years and the thousands of hours of sitting with people I never fail to be humbled by my clients. I so appreciate the trust that is given to me.
This work is my passion and people tell me that I light up when I talk about therapy. I know how much it helps and it's hard not to passionate about something you believe in.
Not only am I a qualified and experienced therapist, but I also bring with me a lot of life experience and previous work experiences. I have worked in various care settings for the last 18 years, working in numerous roles and environments mostly mental health. This experience helps me to effectively evaluate and support clients, and work with a wide range of issues. At this point there is very little I haven't heard before, worked with, or had training in.
You are in safe hands.
Outside of therapy, I wear many hats ... mum to one; step mum to two; married to my second (and so far, favourite) husband; neurodivergent human; friend; dog owner; baker; creative (AKA starts many things, gets distracted, wanders off ...); feminist and ally. I also like to think I'm pretty funny, but that may be debatable! You might find me pottering in the garden; walking the dogs while listening to podcasts or audio books; saging my office; contemplating my to do list; or singing appallingly to some class 90s tunes. (We all have our gifts, unfortunately, musicality is not mine. But being good at the things we love is thankfully not a requirement of joy!)
