Individual Counselling & Psychotherapy for Adults

A space to understand yourself better, at your own pace, with a therapist who gets how your brain works.

Is this for you?

You might be looking for support if you:

  • Feel like too much, not enough, or both at once
  • Are exhausted from masking or holding it all together
  • Are neurodivergent, or wondering if you might be
  • Are carrying the effects of childhood or difficult family relationships
  • Keep finding yourself stuck in the same patterns with parents or family
  • Feel lost, stuck, or unsure who you really are
  • Feel anxious, overwhelmed or burnt out
  • Would like space to bring imagery, intuition or spirituality into your therapy

You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong, or have the right words for it. Feeling that something needs to change is enough.

How I work

I have long thought of myself as an intuitive therapist. I trained as an Integral Therapist, so I can draw on a variety of approaches and use whatever best fits you in that moment, rather than asking you to fit one method.

We’ll work collaboratively and at your pace. You lead what we talk about, and I’ll bring curiosity, skills and experience to help you make sense of it. I’ll also consider the wider context of your life, as this can have a big impact on how you feel.

I won’t make decisions for you or tell you what to do, as your choices are yours to make. But I’ll be firmly in your corner, cheering you on, and I’ll also gently tell you when it might help to look at things differently.

What to expect

The initial call: a free 15–20 minute video call to ask questions and see whether we feel like a good fit.

Your first session: we’ll get to know each other, talk about what’s brought you to therapy and what you’d like from it, and go through the practical things, including confidentiality.

Ongoing sessions: sessions are 60 minutes, usually weekly, by Zoom with cameras on. You’ll need a device with a camera, a reasonably steady internet connection, and somewhere private.

Endings: you’re always in charge of how long we work together. When you feel ready to finish, we’ll plan an ending together, so it feels comfortable rather than sudden.

Working with adolescents

I’m not currently accepting new adolescent clients. If you’re a parent looking for support for your teenager, my Parent Support Sessions can help you understand what’s going on for them and how best to support them.

Making sessions work for you

Therapy shouldn’t ask you to fit a mould. There are no unwritten rules, breaks and stimming are welcome, and there’s no need for eye contact or small talk.
