Experience

I have worked in various care settings since for the last 15 years, working in numerous roles and environments mostly mental health. These experiences and training have enabled me to work with a variety of people experiencing a range of difficulties and disorders. Including but not limited to eating disorders; addictions; depression; anxiety; and personality disorders.

Professional Standards

I am a member of three professional bodies and as such I abide by their codes of conduct and adhere to their ethical frameworks. I attend regular supervision sessions with senior practitioners to ensure that my work remains at a high standard.

Who I Can Work With

I work with adults, adolescents, children and couples. I am also a supervisor of counsellors and other professionals in caring or educational sectors.

I have a particular interest in working with the 'quarter life crisis'; men and women in their late 20s and early 30s, facing many difficult issues this time in life brings. (This may include relationship issues; parenthood difficulties; step and blended families; stress anxiety; depression; childhood trauma; self esteem; body confidence; sexuality; gender identity; pressure of expectations; and feelings of being unfulfilled or lost.)
