I am running Mindfulness & Wellbeing Groups for Children designed to promote mindfulness and self esteem.

This is a 12 week course and each week has it's own individual theme designed to build social skills, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness skills.

This group can be an affordable alternative to counselling or an ideal way to build confidence before or after individual counselling.

There will be a maximum of 12 children in each group and I offer two age groups; primary school age children and secondary school age children.

I deliver all group sessions and am supported by Laura Wade, who has 20 years experience working with children and supporting families.

Weekly themes are:
Week one - Introduction to mindfulness & focusing
Week two - Kindness
Week three - Mood & Emotions
Week four - Gratitude Attitude
Week five - Anxiety
Week six - Intentions
Week seven - Refocusing and Reflecting
Week eight - Calm Place
Week nine - Resilience and Bouncebackability
Week ten - Being Social
Week eleven - Pause and Letting Go
Week twelve - Positive Endings and Moving Forwards

Each week I will introduce the theme, we will enjoy a creative exercise on that theme and complete a mindfulness exercise on a linked to the theme.

Each session is £15 per week, payable in two payments in advance. This ensures steady attendance so that your child isn't unsettled by different people attending each week and they can relax into sharing and getting to know that peers. A deposit of £45 is needed to secure your child's place and a further £45 to be paid before the group starts, this means the first 6 weeks will be paid for. Another £90 is payable during the first 6 week block to pay for the second 6 week block. Contact me for more details.
